Built in 1842, the Bayerische Bahnhof is the oldest preserved end-station in the world. Today you can enjoy a restaurant with a beer garden. The location is also a popular venue for company celebrations - with and without a beer seminar.

Thanks to the ultra-modern microbrewery in the Bayerischer Bahnhof, the top-fermented, vitamin-rich Gose has returned to Leipzig. The Leipzig Gose was almost completely forgotten, but now it is being produced again - in a variety of different compositions. Tip: Try the freshly tapped "Schaffner" Pilsener, the wheat beer called "Kuppler" or the "Heizer", a strong dark beer.
