Historic Inn "Zur Wassermühle"

The watermill in the idyllic village of Höfgen near Grimma is one of the last remaining watermills in the region and can be experienced vividly. After exploring the mill with its technical display and museum exhibition, you can enjoy the mill flair during a stop at the historic inn (with beer garden). If you then feel like getting out into nature, you can discover the small herb garden with old fruit trees behind the mill or go on a mill hike. The approximately 7-kilometer-long circular route "Mühlendreieck" leads not only past the Höfgen watermill, but also the Höfgen shipmill and the Schkortitz Paltrock windmill.
