The Hayna ice cream factory took its first steps in 2012 with a small mobile ice cream bike that was parked at Schladitzer Lake on weekends with ice cream from wholesalers and provided sweaty visitors with cold scoops on hot days. Since 2018, the ice cream has been made in-house using the best ingredients in a small ice cream kitchen. Since then, freezers, blast freezers and pasteurizers have been working continuously and producing what is probably the creamiest, tastiest and most individual ice cream in the region.
Since 2020, there has been a permanent location on the Biedermeier beach with over twenty constantly changing ice cream flavors in the freezer and outdoor seating. In a Biedermeier flair, ice cream sundaes, coffee or cocoa, a changing selection of cakes and cold drinks are offered - with the best view of Lake Schladitzer
