Then as now, it is considered a meeting place in the countryside where you can enjoy life in Leipzig. The music pavilion in Clara Zetkin Park was built in 1912 and was intended to entertain the people of Leipzig with open-air orchestral concerts. From the very beginning, the concerts in the music pavilion were a great success and attracted up to 2000 visitors to the park on concert days. Over the years, the program and performers have changed again and again, but the event pavilion has never lost its popularity.
Today, the historic white building is complemented by a restaurant with a beer garden and, in addition to the traditional music performances, is particularly popular for watching sporting events together.
The music pavilion is very popular with families thanks to its gastronomic offering of delicious pizza and ice cream. There is a changing table for the very young in the barrier-free toilet.
