Zill's Tunnel has been offering its guests typical Saxon dishes, beers and wines in a cozy atmosphere in the heart of Leipzig's pub mile since 1841.
Among the former regular guests of the house were Viktor Nestler, the creator of the "Trompeter von Säkkingen" and Karl Zöllner, whose well-known song "Das Wandern ist des Müllers Lust" was written during a stay in Zill's Tunnel

In addition to the historic restaurant, the house has its own patisserie and several parlors, which are ideal for celebrations on a smaller scale. Best of all, if you're staying longer, you can spend the night in one of the apartments on offer.
