As befits Leipzig, the Neue Schauspiel in Lützner Straße radiates a healthy amount of raw charm and draws on its industrial heritage. The theatre opened in 2010 on the premises of a former printing house with a small but comfortable auditorium for 120 theatre lovers. Here both modern and classical pieces are brought to the stage, often with and an experimental twist. The audience loves it. The Neues Schauspiel is an great addition to the Leipzig theatre world and is definitely worth visiting. After the show, you can have a nightcap in the adjacent theatre pub Tante Manfred. It's the perfect recipe for a wonderful evening.
