The Leipzig Gose tavern "Ohne Bedenken" (without hesitation) is the only still existing tavern of its kind. The name goes back to the waiter Karl Schmidt, who always answered the question "Can you drink the swill Gose?" with the words "Without hesitation". Gose, an old Leipzig beer, is served straight, with a shot or with liqueur. But in the Gose tavern you can also get the classic pilsner, various wines or black beer.
Consisting of a restaurant, a beer cellar, a club room and a large beer garden, the Gose tavern awaits its guests in historical atmosphere with old Saxon dishes on the menu. In addition, you can also experience cabaret and piano music live.
