The gate to the south
The Münzgasse is a quiet, around 200 m long side street also known as the "gate to the south of Leipzig". It links the inner-city "Drallewatsch" pub district to the " KarLi" in Leipzig's Südvorstadt.
There are many interesting restaurants, pubs and bars to explore here. The Münzgasse is a very international place – from Lebanese cuisine in "Beirut Night" to Japanese sushi in the "Mifune" to American burgers and steaks at "Texas Inn". During the summer months it is worth making a detour here, because the small outdoor seating areas on the sidewalks invite you to dine and people-watch.
