In the Old Town Hall on the Market Square
The Leipzig Museum of City History collects and preserves important testimonies of Leipzig's city history and presents them in the Old Town Hall on the market square and the neighbouring new building in Böttchergäßchen. The children's museum is also located here.
The Museum of City History also includes the Monument to the Battle of Nations, the FORUM 1813 as Museum zur Völkerschlacht, the Schiller House in Leipzig-Gohlis, the Sports Museum, the Old Stock Exchange and the Museum Zum Arabischen Coffe Baum. Due to renovations in 2019, the Museum Zum Arabischen Coffe Baum can only be visited during free public guided tours.

Wheelchair access to the Old Town Hall is possible with the lift, for which you have to ring the bell in the corridor.
On the second floor there are wheelchair accessible restrooms.
Wheelchair access to the building in Böttchergässchen or to the children's museum is possible with the lift.
There wheelchair accessible WCs are located on the ground floor.
Guided tours and tactile aids are offered for blind and visually impaired visitors.
Easy-to-read exhibition brochures are available on site (in German only). The museum also offers guided tours for adults and children with intellectual disabilities.
LEIPZIG CARD / LEIPZIG REGIO CARD: Your LEIPZIG CARD entitles you to free admission to the Zum Arabischen Coffe Baum Museum and the Leipzig Sports Museum. The LEIPZIG CARD also includes reduced entrance fees to the House of Böttchergässchen, the Schiller House and the Monument to the Battle of Nations and FORUM 1813.
