300 Years of Bach in Leipzig - The Closing Weekend
Every year in June, the city of Leipzig honours its important Thomaskantor Johann Sebastian Bach with the Bach Festival. In doing so, it follows a tradition of cultivating Bach that was already established by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. In 2023, the focus will be on the 300th anniversary of Bach's appointment as Thomaskantor. At the end of the festival, you will experience the final concert in St Thomas' Church and also have the opportunity to see Lang Lang live in Leipzig.Itinerary:
