Bachfest 2024 in Leipzig - Pre-Reservations for the opening weekend 7. - 10. June now possible!
Every year in June, the city of Leipzig honours its important Thomaskantor Johann Sebastian Bach with the Bach Festival. It follows a tradition of Bach cultivation that was already established by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. In 2024, the Bach Festival will have the special motto "CHORalTOTAL": Bach choirs from all over the world will perform Bach's choral cantatas from 7 to 16 June 2024. The opening concert in St. Thomas Church is the starting signal for the music highlight in Leipzig 2024.
