In around 90 minutes, experience the fascinating production of the BMW 1 Series, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the MINI Countryman. 4 models, 3 drive variants, 2 brands – at the same time on the same production line.

You will gain exciting insights into the ongoing vehicle production in the body shop and in the assembly halls. A total of 1.400 robots support production here at record speed. Discover an architecturally extraordinary factory and find out on site how the BMW Group plant in Leipzig is becoming the BMW iFACTORY. We look forward to your visit.

The Basic Tour is aimed at all interested parties and is suitable as a tourist excursion destination.

For safety reasons, children under 7 years of age cannot take part in factory tours.

Here's what you should consider before your visit to the Leipzig plant: 

• Current events are having a significant impact on our production at the moment, so it may happen that we have to cancel tours for operational reasons. In this case, we will offer you an alternative date as soon as possible or refund you the costs.
• Children under 7 years of age are not permitted to enter the factory premises. Children between 7 and 14 years of age are only permitted to enter the factory premises when accompanied by an adult. An accompanying adult may only look after a maximum of 5 children at the same time.
• Participation in the tour is only possible with closed shoes.
• People with pacemakers must avoid the body shop as there is electromagnetic radiation in these areas. The stations can be skipped during the tour without any problem. Please contact the booking center.
• For a comprehensive factory tour experience, visitors are provided with audio guides with headphones. Wearing the headphones is mandatory. If you cannot wear headphones for health reasons, please contact the booking center.
• Tour dates are usually published 3 months in advance. If you are planning for a longer period and the desired period is not currently available for booking, please add yourself to our waiting list. Information for people with disabilities

• Please contact us in advance if you have any health or mobility impairments. You can indicate this in a comment field at the end of the booking process.
• Every building on the tour is wheelchair accessible.

Cancellation policy

• Tickets can be cancelled free of charge or rebooked to another date up to 14 days before the booked date; after that, the full ticket price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• If you would like to rebook or cancel a booked tour, please contact our booking center at info@visit-bmwgroup.com.
• Tours that have already been booked may be restricted or cancelled for operational reasons. In this case, the price of your tour will of course be refunded.
• If it is not possible to conduct a tour due to an official order, the tour must be cancelled.
