This little adventure takes you through the northern Rosental Through Leipzig's biodiverse floodplain forest to the banks of the Elster Basin. Small tasks and natural history discoveries await at several stations. Can you recognize the early bloomers in the floodplain forest? Can you read the animal tracks? The highlight will be finding narrow paths across the overgrown peninsula in the Elster Basin. The trail culminates at the top of the wobbly tower, offering a magnificent view of the city.
