The Jewish history of the trade fair city is as diverse as its kosher cuisine. On this tour through the city center and the Waldstrassenviertel, we will hop through several centuries, cross invisible borders today, but also come across stumbling blocks. The highlight is a short tour of the Brody Synagogue, which was the only one to survive the Kristallnacht in 1938 and is now once again used as a place of worship and community center. To start with, there are delicious snacks from the Mediterranean and continental kosher cuisine of the Jewish cultural center Ariowitsch-Haus.
