Round trip, swimming trip, barbecue on the water - spend an unforgettable time on the beautiful Hainer See in the south of Leipzig on your private boat trip on our raft boat.

The Hainer See is one of the largest lakes in Leipzig's New Lake District. With an area of ​​around 600 hectares and the Haubitzer See connected to it, it offers extensive opportunities for an exploration tour on our party raft. Powered by a 15 HP motor, you can travel around the entire lake without a license and spend a wonderful, relaxed or exuberant time on the water. Barbecues on the water, a swim stop with a private diving platform, everything is possible.

Our small party raft is approved for up to 8 people.

 

Before taking over the boat, the renter must provide an identification document. This will be returned to the renter immediately upon returning the boat in a clean and perfect condition.  

Please bring weather-appropriate clothing. On hot days, we recommend sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of fluids. Of course, you should also bring food, a trash bag, drinks, and dishes—feel free to bring your own. The raft is perfect for swimming, so swimwear and towels are a must.

The party raft may only be used when the wind force is less than 4.

1. The boat is handed over fully fuelled, clean and seaworthy.

2. Before the renter takes over the boat, the condition of the boat and all equipment will be checked together with the lessor during an inspection and briefing. When the boat is returned, the boat will be inspected together for damage and to ensure that the equipment is complete and clean. Any damage or loss will be offset against the deposit or claimed.

3. The tenant checks whether all necessary ship's documents are on board.

4. Before the first boat trip, the lessor will familiarize the renter with the handling of the boat and instruct them in the most important shipping rules. The renter undertakes to inform the individual passengers/companions of this instruction and to ensure that all passengers put on the life jackets provided.

5. Before departure, it must also be checked whether the required rescue equipment is on board.

6. Stadthafen Leipzig GmbH reserves the right to cancel the rental agreement at the tenant’s expense if it becomes apparent that the tenant is unable to handle the boat properly.

7. The renter undertakes not to make any changes to the boat or equipment, to treat the boat and equipment with care and to return the boat and its equipment clean. In the event of excessive soiling that is outside of normal signs of use, a cleaning fee of €20,00 will be charged.

8. The tenant undertakes to report any damage, collisions, other unusual occurrences or complaints to the landlord immediately upon return. The undersigned accepts that he, as tenant, is liable for all damage during the rental period.

9. Please note that the conclusion of comprehensive insurance by the lessor does not release the lessee from liability for damages that are not covered by the insurance or for which the insurance has expressly reserved the right to take recourse against the lessee. This applies in particular to damages resulting from gross negligence, intent or non-compliance with the terms of the contract, as well as to any consequential damages. The insurer's terms and conditions, which can be viewed on request, are an integral part of this contract. The lessee is responsible for the excess per claim. Any damages not covered by the insurance must be compensated for immediately by the lessee.

10. For actions and omissions of the tenant for which the landlord is held liable by a third party, the tenant shall indemnify the landlord against all civil and criminal law consequences, including all legal costs.

11. Claims by the renter as a result of the boat not being usable due to damage or total failure caused by the renter or a third party during the rental period are excluded.

12. In the event of accidents, breakdowns or other unforeseen events, no liability claims can be made against the lessor.

13. If the renter returns the boat earlier than the time specified in the rental agreement, this does not entitle him to a reduction in the rental price. If the boat is returned later than the time specified in the rental agreement, the price for the boat will be invoiced to the renter according to the price list and offset against the deposit or collected.

14. The invalidity of individual provisions does not affect the validity of the contract as a whole.

15. The place of jurisdiction for both parties is Leipzig.
