Leipzig Christmas market - between gingerbread and glittering lights

Welcome to a guided tour around the traditional Leipzig Christmas market.

As you walk through one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany, you will learn more about the history of Christmas and what the Christmas Stollen is all about. But well-known Leipzig personalities, such as Johann Sebastian Bach and his Christmas Oratorio, will also be examined in more detail. The tour takes you past numerous traditional stalls, the Christmas tree that can be seen from all directions, and an eight-meter-high Christmas pyramid. The magic of Christmas will capture you as you walk through the festively decorated passages.

On the tour you will not only discover the Christmas market and the city, but also its culinary highlights. During the tour, enjoy two mulled wines and try the famous Pulsnitz gingerbread - a local specialty that fits perfectly with the festive mood.
