"Kraftwerk and Leipzig's New Lake District"
Exciting hours await you on this excursion with a trip through the middle of the mining industry - along the conveyor belts, under the mass distributor and past the coal mixing and stacking area - you can follow the path of the raw brown coal to the power plant. Our hearty mining picnic, the 1,5-hour tour of the Lippendorf power plant and the fantastic view of the landscape from the 163m high boiler house make this tour a unique experience.
Afterwards, you will explore the future region south of Leipzig in a compact way. You will travel to the newly created lakes with exits and fascinating views, for example of Vineta and the LAGOVIDA holiday resort, the canoe park on Lake Markkleeberg and Lake Hainer with the Kahnsdorf lagoon.
