School Trip – History Trip to the Leipzig Region
You will spend the night in Colditz Castle, where you will discover the Escape Museum. The next day, the class will head towards Markkleeberg, where the journey through regional and world history begins in the Dölitz Gatehouse in the Tin Figure Museum. The trip ends with a guided tour of the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, which commemorates the historic Battle of the Nations against Napoleon in the autumn of 1813.

If you want more action, book a rafting trip in rubber dinghies on the Mulde! (Route Leisnig to Grimma)
Alternatively, you can visit the permanent exhibition in the Geschichtenhof Wyhra Experience how village life around 1900 comes back to life. School classes can experience educational activities such as baking in a farm oven and much more.
