A Lake With History
Covering almost 600 hectares, Lake Hain is one of the largest lakes in the Leipziger Neuseenland. It offers a place to relax as well as a variety of water sports options, all within roughly 20 minutes by car from the borders of the city of Leipzig.
On the southern shore of Lake Hain, you will find the Kahnsdorf lagoon embedded in the idyllic surroundings of the history-steeped village of Dorf Kahnsdorf Enjoy a pleasant stroll along the two-kilometre-long promenade, which is lined with holiday homes, cafés and restaurants, as well as boat rental opportunities. A Touch of the Mediterranean at the Harbour
The manor house, separated from Lake Hain by a park, offers the perfect ambience for weddings and celebrations – whether in the Schillerhaus and its café or in the stately manor house.
On the northern shore, in addition to a water ski school, Camping Hain awaits enthusiastic campers, tenters and caravanners.
