On the edge of the Mulde - as an attractive rest stop near the Mulde bike trail - lies the Canitz nature and history park. Experience nature in harmony with our history. Discover the day to day life of our forefathers from the Stone Age to slave times.
Learn interesting facts about the habitats of insects, from butterflies to bees, in the nature garden. During the different seasons of the year, the theme gardens (including the scented, herbal, organic and rose gardens) are always inviting.
The museum facility in the centre of the Canitz Park includes an exhibition on the settlement history in the Mulde-Parthe area, on the forest and nature preservation in the central Mulde area and on water sanitation and water procurement. In addition, there is also an exhibition by the Nature protection association.
The use of the entire park facility in Canitz is ideal for kids' birthdays, family and company parties, as well as seminars.
