museum/collection
Permanent exhibition on the way of life of the stone breakers and the technical development of stone mining, special exhibitions of collections, pictures and photographs.

The half-timbered building from 1802 presents the way of life of the stone breakers and the history of the north-west Saxon stone industry. Stone crushing plant (in operation), traction engine, Lanz Bulldog, nostalgic gas station - these are just some of the exhibits in the outdoor area. A new Primus garage was inaugurated in 2011. Interesting exhibitions of collections, pictures and photographs can also be viewed all year round.
The "canteen" offers a cozy setting for a coffee table for groups of up to 35 people. Guided tours of the museum can be organized, as can guided tours of the quarries and technical monuments in the Wurzen region. Folk and Dixieland concerts are regularly held in the garden of the stoneworker's house. The cultural highlight is the country concert every year in August.
