Since 1982, naTo has presented experimental jazz, independent theater, performances, readings, Eastern European music culture, and pop and rock concerts. In addition, naTo stands for socio-cultural grassroots work in the neighborhood. Workshops and courses are organized, discussions about politics, culture, and art events are initiated - even beyond the house on Südplatz run by naTo e. V. Every year, the association organizes the major event "Prix de Tacot" - the naTo soapbox race on Fockeberg and the young talent festival "BachSpiele" at Leipzig Central Station as part of the Leipzig Bach Festival.
The current focus of the program is on promoting young Leipzig talent projects in the areas of contemporary jazz, pop and theater, as well as cultural participation projects with people with and without migration experience. The cinema program in the naTo is organized by the Cinémathèque Leipzig eV - an independent association.
The naTo also attracts children with a colorful theater program, such as the Knalltheater, which usually takes place on the weekend.
But naTo is not only known for culture. It also runs a bar that is open daily from 18.30:XNUMX p.m.
