A true oasis of relaxation stretches around the former Lützschena manor. The Lützschena Palace Park was created in the 19th century by the von Sternburg family in the style of an English landscape garden. The park is home to many highlights such as the romantic Diana Temple, the banks of the Elster and Luppe rivers, and a herd of alpacas that are bred here according to Sternburg family tradition. The former farm building of the von Sternburg family now also houses the "Auwaldstation" environmental education center. The Lützschena Palace Park is a great place to explore on a long walk. You can also explore this natural jewel by bike from the Leipzig city center.
