The Altes Landratsamt, the Commerz- and Privatbank Leipzig's founding building, currently serves as an event location with a club in the 1920s look.
The Commerz- and Privatbank Leipzig's founding building has a long and moving history. Built as a classic banking house, it housed the "Landratsamt Leipziger Land" (old district office) shortly after the fall of the Wall and is still known under this name in Leipzig today. After years of neglect, the ground floor and basement were revived and opened to the public. The event location includes an old, bank-typical club cellar ("TK Club im Tresorkeller"), that still has the original 1920s style of the former bank building with old lockers and steel cabinets and can be used for many types of events. The multi-purpose event hall on the ground floor has an impressive 8m ceiling in the atrium. The event hall can be tailored to suit any event. It can be used for any kind of event, from conventions, to conferences, to corporate events and public music events.
