A stroll in the Bad Düben spa park will take you along historic routes and allow you to enjoy tranquillity and nature. The spa park was built in 1848 as one of the first civic parks in Germany. With its fountains, flower and rhododendron plantations, small therapy facilities, barefoot path and the magnificent population of old trees, it is an idyllic relaxation oasis. Within its confines are the 'Waldkrankenhaus' (in English: forest hospital), a specialist orthopaedic hospital and the rehab centre with its specialist clinics for cardiology, neurology and orthopaedics. Since the Kurhaus Hotel & Restaurant's renovation, a traditional restaurant in the middle of the park once again invites you to while away some time enjoying culinary delicacies and summer spa concerts
