The Beucha Fortified Church is a mountain church, whose oldest components are the tower and sacristy. In the 19th century, the addition of a nave took place on the west side and so emerged the "twin church". It is situated on a mountain at a quarry, from which the stones used for the Memorial to the Battle of Nations in Leipzig were sourced.

The mountain church of Beucha houses a Schmiesser organ, which was inaugurated in 2006. Guided tours and organ viewings upon request.
