The ambience and the events of Bunten Bühne Biesen are based on the historical Biedermeier epoch.
The Haynaer Strandverein has set itself the goal of building a unique cultural venue on the Hayna shore of Lake Schladitz. The ambience and the content are inspired by the historical Biedermeier epoch. However, the program goes far beyond that: Since 2008, dance and theater performances, concerts and the traditional Biedermeier beach festival have been held during the summer season. Both regional theater ensembles and bands as well as supra-regional artists perform on the beach.
In order to welcome guests and performers in all weather conditions without having to give up the dreamlike natural scenery, a spectator and stage roofing are being built this year. With funding, the venue has been redesigned to accommodate up to 400 visitors.
