Musicals, concerts and readings provide entertainment on the stage at Biedermeierstrand
.
The Haynaer Strandverein has set itself the task of creating a unique cultural venue on the Hayna shore of Lake Schladitz. The ambience and content are based on the historical era of the Biedermeier period. However, the program goes far beyond this: dance and theater performances, concerts and the traditional Biedermeier beach festival take place regularly during the summer season. Regional theater ensembles and bands as well as national artists perform on the beach.

In order to be able to welcome guests and performers in all weathers without having to do without the fantastic natural scenery, there is room for around 900 spectators in the covered stage directly on the shore of the lake.

You can listen to more about the Biedermeierstrand and the plays and shows in the podcast "Willkommen in Leipzig".
