The historic Hamburg harbor barge was built in 1958 at the Jastram shipyard in Hamburg. In 2003, the ship was converted into a passenger steamer for the Leipzig New Lake District. The ship can be chartered by the hour or planned as a very personal trip on Lake Cospuden with the theme modules "Whisky Cruise", "Slaughter Festival" and "Coffee and Cake".
As a highlight, the MS Neuseenland offers the opportunity to sail into the harbor of marriage. Together with the Zwenkau registry office, couples wishing to marry have the opportunity to get married in the middle of Lake Cospuden.

By public transport: Take the S-Bahn to the station in Markkleeberg. From there, take bus number 106 to the stop Zöbigker (Markkleeberg), Schmiede (fare stop, end of validity of the Leipzig Card). Continue on foot for about 10 minutes (670 m)
