Chocolatier Praetsch

The Wermsdorfer Chocolaterie is idyllically situated near the Horstsee lake. Founded in 2011, it has since become an authority in chocolate and praline production. The artisan business, run by chocolatier Olav Praetsch, lovingly handcrafts all of its delicacies from regional, sustainably produced and fair trade ingredients. And the variety of products is huge: you can find pretty much anything your heart - or palate - desires in the chocolate bars: whole milk with local hazelnuts, dark chocolate with figs or white chocolate with poppy seeds are just a few examples. 

A specialty of the chocolatier is the "Wermsdorfer Nusskrem" with 50% nut content, because almost all the ingredients of this regional product come from the area around Wermsdorf. It is the first nutty spread to be produced exclusively with organic hazelnuts from German - or more precisely Saxon - cultivation.
