The International Dance and Theater Festival in Leipzig
From 5 to 10 November 2024, the 34th edition of the euro-scene Leipzig dance and theater festival will focus on the state of our society from a variety of perspectives in an international program with a strong emphasis on distinctive styles. This year's guest performances from the fields of dance, theater and performance come from Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and Iran, among others.
The festival will close on 10 November 2024 with a dance piece by the Austrian-French artist, director and choreographer Gisèle Vienne in cooperation with the Berlin Sophiensæle. This much we can already reveal: We can expect 90 minutes of sheer emotion, collective intoxication and ecstasy. An overwhelming theater experience!
The guest performances are complemented by discourse programs, talks, readings and film screenings.
