The Beucha fortified church is a mountain church, the oldest part of which is the tower and sacristy. In the 19th century, a nave was added to the west, creating a "double church". It is located on the mountain next to a quarry from which the stones for the Battle of the Nations Monument in Leipzig were quarried.
The Beucha mountain church houses a Schmeisser organ, which was re-inaugurated in 2006. Guided tours and organ viewings are available upon request.
