In 1883 on the mill mountain of Paschwitz, a massive windmill tower was erected. Built without a compass dial, the mill had to be held to the wind manually. In 1933, miller Ernst Friedemann acquired the mill and in 1938, 1946 and 1965 undertook comprehensive refurbishments. After storm damage to the blades in 1968, the mill was operated solely electronically. The miller Edgar Friedemann, who has managed the small milling plant since 1975, and until 1997 was the last commercial miller in the region, oversaw the reconstruction of the main mill building and blades in 1991/92. Today you can take a tour of the mill. The homey parlour room invites you to make yourself at home. Events are held in the barn and the courtyard of the mill.
