Carl Gottlob Häcker took over his father's workshop and moved it from Pegau to Borna in 1822/23. During this time, Urban Kreutzbach (1796 - 1868) was one of his employees. Carl Gottlob Häcker built the organ for Dreiskau in 1822. Until the middle of the 20th century, Dreiskau and Muckern were two independent parishes. The planned mining of brown coal up until the 1980s gradually led to the church and its organ falling into disrepair.
