The equipment, from neoprene clothing to life jackets and safety helmets, is provided on site. After a briefing, the first paddling exercises are carried out in the target pool and then the trip in the white water begins. For those who prefer something a little quieter, the canoe park has a dragon boat, a team canoe and a boat rental shop next door. There is a playground for younger visitors and there is also food and drink available. The KANU whitewater terrace invites you to enjoy a refreshment with a view of Lake Markkleeberg. In addition to recreational sports, the canoe park also hosts exciting events such as the XXL paddling festival and top-class canoe slalom competitions.
