The town of Leisnig invites you to its Fairytale Christmas on 9 and 10 December 2023.
Every year on the second weekend of Advent, Leisnig's Christmas Market, also known as Leisnig's Fairytale and Family Christmas, opens its gates. It is set up in the historic old town, surrounding the seven-metre-tall Christmas pyramid in the square around St. Matthew Church. Vendors from Leisnig and elsewhere offer Christmas items for sale at the numerous stalls. The programme also includes concerts by the music school, the Leisnig Women's Choir and communal advent singing as well as a daily visit from Father Christmas.
