Called the "green lung" of the city of Leipzig, Lene Voigt Park is distinguished above all by its many leisure and recreational opportunities for young and old.

The park was built on the former location of the Eilenburg railway station and officially opened in 2004. A variety of leisure and recreational opportunities are the defining features of the park.

Sports and games, such as table tennis tables, playing fields for ball sports as well as opportunities for boules, inline skating or mountaineering, are on offer. A fairytale forest is waiting to be explored and young and old can cool down in the water playground. Thanks to the many facilities for children, the park is ideal for family outings.
