Until 1945, Frohburg Castle was the centre of one of the largest manors in Saxony and is one of its culturally and historically valuable monuments. The current four-wing complex was built from a medieval castle around 1200. Five major construction phases from the Romanesque period to the Classicism period in the 19th century can be experienced by visitors in an impressive and distinctive way. Classically painted rooms, an impressive vaulted cellar, an extensive ceramics and toy collection, a historic schoolroom and the adjacent English-style park invite you to take an interesting journey through time.
