Creative minds of Leipzig's Neustadt district live and work in Pöge-Haus. In the Galerie-Café visitors meet at events or for a cup of coffee.
After years of neglect and abandonment, Pöge-Haus was revived by artists and architects in 2009. In 2014, the newly founded Pöge-Haus e.V. Association bought the property in order to transform it into a living and creative space. Today there is a gallery-café, where art and conversations take centre stage, as well as seminar rooms, studios and apartments for the resident artists. The Pöge-Haus sees itself not only as an art centre but also as the centre of life and discussions in Leipzig's Neustadt district, where residents can play an active role.
