In the Frohburg district of Rüdigsdorf, you will find a gem of classicist art and architecture in the park of the former manor house - the Schwind Pavilion. It is part of the Orangery building, which was built between 1829 and 1839 by the then owner of the manor, Heinrich Wilhelm Leberecht Crusius. Crusius, himself a member of the Saxon and Leipzig Art Associations, was able to attract other important artists such as Gustav Adolf Hennig, Otto Wagner and Leopold Schulz to decorate the hall on the theme of "Amor & Psyche" alongside Moritz von Schwind. Even Gottfried Semper made suggestions for the wall design. Today, Moritz von Schwind is considered the main representative of German late Romanticism.

The hall has been a museum since 1968, is open to visitors in summer and is used as a concert hall and registry office. It can be hired for private lectures and concerts. Wedding appointments are arranged by the Frohburg registry office.
