At 70 m high and 2 km long, it is located between Espenhain, Mölbis, Trages and Thierbach. It is characterized by erosion gullies on the western side and ecologically valuable biotopes in the tipping forest. A 10 km long circular hiking trail across the Hochhalde offers information boards, geocaching points and views as far as the Erzgebirge ridge - ideal for nature and hiking enthusiasts."
