Short facts

Almost 250 different coniferous and deciduous trees, as well as shrubs of all shapes and sizes can be found in this park.

The Treblitzsch nature park was designed in 1927 and 1928 by Max Schlenker, a landowner in Ammlgoßwitz. Almost 250 different coniferous and deciduous trees, as well as shrubs of all shapes and sizes can be found in this park spanning a surface area of roughly five hectares. This park is home to one of the Free State of Saxony's most precious collections of trees, a title it owes to its diversity. The administrative region of Saxony decided to place Treblitzsch Park under the protection of the Nature Conservation Act.
