Zitzschen village church
The village church in Zitzschen has undergone numerous renovations. First, the church tower was renewed in 1832. Around 60 years later, the church was renovated. The spire and ceiling paintings were renovated and restored until 1999. A special feature is hidden inside the church. It houses the Trampeli organ, which was built by the brothers Johann Gottlob and Christian Wilhelm Trampeli. It is one of the largest Trampeli organs to have been largely preserved in its original state.
