Lagoons, promenades and more...
Stretching almost 600 hectares, Lake Hain is one of the largest lakes in the Leipzig New Lake District. Roughly 20 minutes from the borders of the city of Leipzig, besides offering relaxation, a variety of water sports options are also available.
Embedded in the idyllic location of the history-steeped village of Dorf Kahnsdorf, you will find Kahnsdorf lagoon, on the southern shore of Lake Hain. Enjoy a casual stroll along the 2-kilometre-long promenade with its boat and holiday homes, sailing schools and boat rental opportunities. Not far from there, there is also the small sandy Kahnsdorf beach, with a volleyball pitch and its own jetty.
On the northern shore, by the newly established camp site and mobile home area, water lovers can also be seen jumping into the cool abyss.
