Passenger ships in the Leipzig Region
Discover the Leipzig region from the water!
Whether on one of the lakes in Leipzig's New Lake District, on the waters of Leipzig's canals, on the Mulde or the Kriebstein Dam - a boat tour will delight young and old alike.
The Leipzig region is brimming with passenger ships inviting you to explore the lakes and waterways in comfort. Treat yourself to coffee and cake or other goodies from the on-board menu and sit back and relax while listening to the captain tell a host of exciting stories. The phrase "ship ahoy" is used in many places, whether on Lake Cospuden, Zwenkau, Markkleeberg or Lake Störmthal. You will also discover a number of special trips and on-board tasting sessions on offer. The ships regularly operate on the lakes during the summer season from March to October.
They are also busy plying the waters of the River Mulde at Grimma and Wurzen during the summer. For example, boats on the Mulde offer one-hour trips up and downriver, and also serveas ferries for hikers and cyclists.
Well, then: Ship ahoy!
