Seepark Auenhain is located directly on Lake Markkleeberg. The artificial lake is located east of the eponymous town of Markkleeberg and south of Leipzig. It was created between July 20, 1999 and June 2006 by flooding the northern part of the Espenhain brown coal opencast mine. With its 32 holiday homes and twelve holiday apartments at a certified 5-star level, the holiday park offers plenty of space for holidaymakers all year round. There are also six caravan spaces available for camping enthusiasts. Since 2008, Seepark Auenhain has blended idyllically into the landscape directly above Lake Markkleeberg. Due to its immediate proximity to the Markkleeberg canoe park and the Belantis adventure kingdom as well as to Leipzig city center, the park is the ideal starting point for exploring the vibrant trade fair metropolis and discovering Leipzig's New Lake District with its wide range of tourist attractions.

The "all-round carefree feeling"

The opulent furnishings of the holiday homes and apartments ensure a "carefree feeling all around". The stylishly furnished holiday apartments are around 45 square metres in size and can be booked from 94 euros per person. The holiday homes are between 71 square metres and 95 square metres in size and can be booked in standard and comfort versions. In addition to the fully furnished standard versions with their own fireplace, the comfort houses have their own sauna. This makes the wellness experience possible in your own four walls. The "Haus Zwergseeschwalbe" with space for four people and the "Haus Silbermöwe" for 6 people are also handicapped-friendly. Wider door frames, low-mounted door handles, light switches and sockets are also part of the basic equipment, as is handicapped-accessible bathroom facilities.

The Seepark's wellness offerings also include the "Seestern" wellness oasis with four different themed saunas and a 28-square-meter indoor pool. The "Salon am See" - an in-house hairdresser and the externally operated cosmetics and wellness oasis "AVALON" round off the offering and ensure a top-class vacation.

The "Seestern" house takes great care of the beauty and relaxation of its guests. A culinary experience of a special kind is the house specialty: bison meat in various variations. In addition to the seasonal meat and fish dishes, there is also an extensive selection for vegetarians. Cakes, tarts and delicious ice cream sundaes can also be enjoyed here. However, specials such as candlelight dinners, various brunch events and the legendary annual bison evening are particularly popular with guests.
