The old Nikolaischule houses the University of Leipzig’s Museum of Antiquities, with over 800 remains of life in the ancient Mediterranean.

The second largest collection of ancient art in Saxony is housed on the first floor of the historic building of the “Alte Nikolaischule”.

Through objects from more than 3.500 years of human history, the mythology, religion and funeral customs of Greco-Roman antiquity can be experienced.

Public transport: The nearest S-Bahn station is Leipzig Markt (lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S5X, and S6). From there, it's about a 400-meter walk. The nearest tram stop is at Augustusplatz (lines 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and bus 89).

By car: Use the parking garages around the city center. The nearest parking option is the underground car park at Augustusplatz.
