A pre-Christmas land of plenty awaits visitors from December 6th to 8th, 2024 at the Delitzsch Advent Market. Experience the magic of the pre-Christmas period on the market square of the Loberstadt. International culinary delights, handicrafts and a varied family program ensure an Advent weekend to enjoy. Specialties such as Trdelník, macarons, Salzwedeler Baumkuchen, Nougat de Montélimar, Poffertjes, fudge, flame-grilled salmon and Lángos await guests at more than 80 stands.
Amidst the festive atmosphere on the lavishly illuminated market square, glassblowers, ceramicists, wood designers, fashion manufacturers and basket makers present their handmade unique pieces and delicate works. Christmas tree decorations, Christmas pyramids, chocolate made from camel milk, handmade soaps and more can be admired in the weather-protected indoor area of ​​the "Markt Zwanzig" event hall. The market stage features a continuous program with live music from the bands "Four Roses", "PlanZwoo", "Golden Mary" by Björn Martins and the "Trio Prestige" from Kiev. In addition to carousel and train rides, the wooden playmobile on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will ensure that children's eyes light up.
