The smell of cookies, mulled wine, Christmas music, social gatherings - the anticipation is great! The Christmas market in Eilenburg takes place on the first weekend of Advent, from November 29th to December 1st, 2024, at the Eilenburg town hall.
The Christmas market is traditionally opened by the Eilenburg Castle Association with musical accompaniment by the Sprotta trombone choir and the classic cutting of the Stollen by the mayor. In addition to the magic of the stalls under the linden trees with all kinds of handmade items, Christmas decorations and much more, visitors can enjoy numerous sweet and savory delicacies. The city library's book flea market is taking place in the information pavilion this Advent weekend.
