Zoo/Animal Park
The Eilenburg Zoo is open 365 days a year. Small but beautiful, in the middle of the city park, around 300 animals from 50 species have their home here.
The Eilenburg Zoo is small but perfectly formed. The more than 50.000 visitors it receives annually testify to the quality of this Eilenburg gem. This four-hectare green oasis in the heart of the city park is home to 300 animals of 50 species. Children will find something to play with, pet, and explore everywhere. Visitors can also explore a nature trail through wetlands and woodland areas. Throughout the year, the zoo offers a host of great events for the whole family. The spooky fun at Halloween and Christmas is particularly popular. A restaurant in the entrance area caters to culinary needs. In the warmer months, it's a great place to sit outside while the little ones romp around on the playground.

Note: Dogs are only allowed on a leash in the entrance area (open-air catering area).
