The castle park is located in Großböhla, a district of the heath town of Dahlen. The small town has a real gem in terms of rest and relaxation for visitors who want to spend time in the fresh air and in a clean environment. There is no traffic noise to disturb you, no one is urging you to hurry. Visitors can always make new discoveries, observe animals and experience the still-existing wildness of nature. Let yourself be enchanted. The water areas in the park and the avenues in the castle are a decoration. In spring the rhododendron bushes bloom, in autumn it is worth collecting chestnuts. A visit to the park with its trees and bushes will make you forget the summer heat. The natural park is characterized above all by the restored fish ponds and a slightly redesigned forest area with alluvial forest features as well as the enclosed mausoleum. Special features are a large number of old pedunculate oaks. A special example is the memorial oak with a trunk diameter of approx. 200 cm. At the foot of the memorial oak, a monument commemorates fallen soldiers from the First World War. An old chestnut avenue leads along the Great Island Pond.
